The definition of "Comfort Foods" is: food that is satisfying because it is prepared in a simple or traditional way and reminds you of home, family, or friends, so in my book the warm, delicious and comforting food that you fill your bowl with is as important as the people you share it!
Enjoy and share!

WOW! Your readers just struck gold here! It's like winning the comfort food Lotto! Thank you for sharing these gorgeous recipes, my friend! I saw this the other day on Insta and I was like - oh man- I need to make my way over there! Where should I start? Cheese fondue? No wait... Shrimp and grits... Or - One pot chicken and potatoes... You've made this decision very difficult! 😉 Thanks for this fabulous round-up, my dear!!
Petit Gourmet says
Thank you Annie!!! this is a real tough decision to make even for me! but maybe chicken pot pie is on the winning side! I mean flaky crust with creamy chicken and sweet veggies! if not that one one of the alcohol braised ones, like the carbonade, braised in beer!! doesn't get much better than that! ?

Comfort food is the absolute BEST!! Nothing beats it! What an awesome collection 🙂 It would be hard to decide where to start, but those ravioli and shrimp and grits look particularly good to me right now. Wish I was curled up with a big bowl of one of those....or maybe a bit of both 😉
